About us:
The Moat has been operating for 11 years now, and we have established a great reputation over that time. We are a small team and believe in the strength of supporting each other like one. Our focus is on Italian food and associated beverages, but we are more than just a restaurant. We are a hub for the creative community and often host events and partner with great organisations during different festivals.
Situated in the basement of The State Library and below the amazing Wheeler Centre, our restaurant has a very interesting customer base who enjoy quality drinks, food and service.
We operate from Tuesday to Saturday, day and night. We are closed on Sundays and public holidays which means plenty of quality time off.
